Against England, their batting unit was tested on a tricky pitch at Lucknow. They lost 3 for 40 but Rohit helped the team get a fighting score along with KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav. Rohit made 87 off 101 while Rahul and Suryakumar made 39 and 49, respectively.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka are placed sixth on the table with six points and a net run-rate of -0.275. Sri Lanka lost their first three games but then defeated the Netherlands and England to keep their semi-finals chances alive. But a defeat against Afghanistan has put their campaign in jeopardy.
After being asked to bat first, Sri Lanka had a good platform with 134 for 2 in 27.3 overs, with Pathum Nissanka making 46 at the top, and Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama batting in 30s. But they lost the pair and could get the finish they needed, getting bowled out for 241.
Dilshan Madushanka knocked over Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the first over but Sri Lanka just couldn’t create enough wicket-taking opportunities afterwards as Afghanistan chased down the target by seven wickets and 28 balls to spare.
Sri Lanka suffered another injury blow with Lahiru Kumara getting ruled out of the tournament. Dushmantha Chameera returned to the team while Dimuth Karunaratne was brought back for the previous game.

India vs Sri Lanka Dream11 Match Prediction
Wicket-keepers: Kusal Mendis, KL Rahul
Batters: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Sadeera Samarawickrama
All-rounders: Ravindra Jadeja
Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Dilshan Madushanka
Recommended Captain: Jasprit Bumrah
Recommended Vice-captain: Virat Kohli
Taking into account the form of two teams, it is wise to go with as many Indian players as you can. The pitches at Wankhede Stadium are batting-friendly so we will go with more batters and all-rounders in this Dream11 team.
India’s batting line-up has been in good form and should do well at this ground. So picking their top three of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli along with wicket-keeper KL Rahul would be ideal. In the all-rounder’s section, you could go with either Ravindra Jadeja who has been in good bowling form.
From the Sri Lankan side, we have picked wicketkeepers Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama. The duo has been in pretty good form and should do well here. Pathum Nissanka has also been amongst runs but dealing with India’s pace attack could be a big task for the opener.
From the bowling section, picking India’s Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav is a must. Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madushanka has been in terrific form and having him in the side would be justified.
As for the captaincy picks, Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli are great options. Bumrah has taken 14 wickets from six games while Kohli has hit one century and three half-centuries in the tournament.
India vs Sri Lanka win prediction: India to win
The two teams have had pretty contrasting World Cup campaigns. India have been ruthless so far without any losses while Sri Lanka have lost four games. The recent head-to-head record is also dominated by India, who have won nine of the previous 10 games. The hosts have a formidable batting unit and a scarily good bowling attack. We predict India to win this match.
